1. Who we are
Family Sync helps households coordinate calendars and reminders. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the app.
2. Optional profile details
Many profile fields are optional. You can use the app with a simple account and calendar data only. Optional details such as a phone number, date of birth, or photo are used only for features you turn on. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Information we process
Account data for sign-in; family events and related content you choose to store or sync; device identifiers for optional alerts; SMS only if you enable SMS reminders; photos only when you choose to add images.
4. Camera, calendar, and storage
Camera and photo access are used only when you choose to add images. Calendar access is optional and used only if you turn on Sync to device calendar in Settings. Family Sync adds or updates your shared Family Sync events in a separate Family Sync calendar on this device so they appear in the Calendar app. Family Sync does not read or upload your existing Calendar events to our servers.
5. How we use information
We use information to run syncing, notifications, invitations, and to keep the service reliable and secure. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Retention and deletion
You may delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) or email support@familysync.space if you cannot sign in. See Account deletion for full details.
